Online Message Boards Launched for WPFW, KPFA, and KPFK Signal Areas

KPFA, KPFK and WPFW Listener Message Boards now online - joining WBAI and KPFT forums

Greetings Friends,
Since its launch in January of this year, the WBAI (NYC) Issues message board has become a key online meeting place for listeners, activists and station staff. Utilizing the simple linear threaded message format, bulletins are posted, information shared, questions asked and answered and activities planned. Many have stated that they develope a deeper sense of community through these online meetings.
Today, forums were launched for the KPFA, KPFK and WPFW Pacifica signal areas, joining the already active WBAI and KPFT boards. All 5 boards are linked from www.goodlight.net/radio. You are encouraged to use the boards to build stronger and better stations and to help guide the Pacifica Foundation to serve its founding mandate and its listeners.
Please help spread the word about the forums to friends, relatives, newsgroups, bulletin boards and to the media. If you have suggestions on effective ways to do this, please post them on the boards and/or email them to forums@goodlight.net. Black & white flyers promoting the boards can be found at each board's Goodlight page. They can be printed and posted in public areas or faxed. Artists are encouraged to design additional posters and handouts and submit them to forums@goodlight.net for uploading to the Goodlight site.
