OK - Here is the Deal
Inasmuch as the life of articles on the WBAI Issues and WBAI
People message boards
have a life of 7 to 10 days, (and hardly likely to be read after
they are gone from the first page), some of you have called for some
sort of archiving of "the best of" articles posted.
Although time does not allow doing this comprehensively,
it might be worthwhile to try to feature some of the best of the
lighter posts by providing temporary links on this
new WbeeAeye Post "newspaper." This will, at least, allow folks
who visit on an occasional basis to play catch-up. Anyone can
suggest an article for linking; however, articles submitted by their
author, if
they meet the conditions below, may be chosen by our esteemed
editorial board to be archived
indefinitely on a "best
of" page. Additionally, we are looking for -
Headlines and Teasers
Any short item for the front page can be invented for its own value and need not be connected
to an article. (A link to the Issues board may be attached
to confuse passersby.) Email your headline and teaser or chant (see Beeg
Prize Contest),
mantra, weather report, etc. to frank@goodlight.net.
Articles
If you would like to submit an article to be featured and / or archived in this section - one that
entertainingly attempts to direct some demented Pacifica or BAI
focused
situation, group or individual back toward sanity by the judicious
use of insanity - please consider these guidelines:
- All material is subject to the same rules linked from the WBAI
Issues board. Translation: Mean-spirited, sneering stuff is not
eligible.
- Please consider that fiction and "thinly veiled" caricatures
may be more effective than frontal attacks if the goal is to point
out folly, rather than destroy individuals or groups.
If the article is your own, post it to one of the boards and complete all fields
below, and click the "I agree" thingy. Author submissions
will be verified by email.
If are submitting another person's article you are not
required to enter your name or email address. Articles submitted
without the author's permission may be linked from these pages, but not archived.
